Pip has been diagnosed with a major cardiac condition (didn't show up until 14mths of age).
Pip has seen all the specialists. She has a hole in her heart, and two other leaky valves. It has been determined it is inoperable and Pip will be lucky if she will survive another year (she is 15mths now). You wouldn't think it to look at her, she flies around like a nut. Very very sad, she is a fantastic little dog!
( Pip has been diagnosed with a major cardiac condition (didn't show up until 14mths of age), she is being assessed by Texas A&M to see if we can safely spay her. Thankfully I test all my dogs yearly and this is when this showed up. Pip will get to run free and enjoy her life of chasing gophers and her agility sister, Diva. Cardiac conditions can come out SEVEN generations down the line, start testing today, and don't put anymore heartache into another humans heart like I have. I am told (always great after the fact) that this problem runs in Pip's mothers side!
